Welcome to the "Cardless
Satellite For Dummies" page. Not trying to be rude but not everyone runs a puter
like me so I am gonna break it all down fer ya along with a bit of a standup
routine to keep you entertained.....
All cardless
machines follow the same rules.. they will roll the codes or they wont.. here
you will find the files needed to make your machine roll when we can and info on
how to use your remote to enter codes when the core file is down.
All units require a
"key" in order to process audio and video. the key is the same for all units for
each provider ( bell or dishnetwork ) and when the "autoroll" feature fails..
you can still activate your unit with your remote control by inputting in
several numbers, or "keys". Each key has 16 bytes (32 digits) consisting of
numbers and letters ( 0-9 and A-F) and each provider utilizes 2 keys. usually
current and next. they are called Key 00 and Key 01. On this page you will
always find either the current WORKING software or current keys.
All data files are
in winzip form. download the file and save it on your computer, open the file
and extract the contents to the folder or pendrive. If you are running windows
XP, it will know how to handle a compressed file. If not email me and I will
send you a copy of winzip if you don't have it already.

I wish we had more to update but the only real change so far is the loss
of adult channels on the american provider. Its a start but sadly we wont see
any software untill all channels finalize their switch to the Nagra3 encryption.
We are playing with some private options that may prove fruitful in the next few
weeks. so stay tuned. and Happy Easter. . .

SONICVIEW HD8000
No software needed, you need a USB Pendrive of 512meg
or larger and you can load through the front panel. They are cheap and can be
picked up at any electronics or computer store. Just make sure its not too wide
as it needs to fit in the usb slot on the front of your unit.

Software utility and instructions to load can be downloaded
HERE Please note in order to load your
receiver yourself you need a 9 pin, null modem cable, female on both ends to
load your unit. One end from your computer and the other end to your unit. (
satellite unit that is...) It is a winzip file, download, open and
extract ALL files into a folder you know. I suggest making a folder called
Satellite and storing all info in that folder.
